WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THAT ? ?

Heres a few questions for all. Answers are not lame. Use logic to think (:

QUESTION 1:

There are 4 cups on the table. All of these cups contain the same number of pin pong balls in it.

CLUES:

1ST CUP: 1 or 2
2ND CUP: 2 or 3
3RD CUP: 2 or 4
4TH CUP: 1 or 4

ONLY 1 of the above statement is correct. The numbers represent the possible no. of pin pong balls in the cups. Using this given clues, find out which statement is the correct one and guess the number of pin pong balls in the cups.

AND the answer is 3! You may have guess the correct number of pin pong balls but have you gotten the right explaination for it? lol. Work it out using subtraction.

Lets relook at the clues

1ST CUP: 1 or 2
2ND CUP: 2 or 3
3RD CUP: 2 or 4
4TH CUP: 1 or 4

For example, if only 1 pin pong ball is in each cup, it is not possible for 2 statements to be correct. So..yes. the answer is 3 in each cups :D

QUESTION 2:

There are 4 people wearing caps on their head. There are 2 yellow and 2 red caps.
All of them sit in a straight line and we name them person 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Person 1 and 2 is wearing yellow cap, Person 3 and 4 is wearing a red cap
In between person 1 and 2, there is a wall.

Who could have possibly shout out i know my cap's colour?

Ans: 3rd person! :D

Reason: person 1 cant possibly say he knows cos he cant see the rest of the people. This applies to the 2nd person as well. The 4th person cant say he knows his cap colour as well becos 2nd and 3rd person is wearing a different colour. As for the 3rd person: since the 2nd person is wearing a yellow one, and the 4th person did not shout "i know my cap colour", without a doubt his is certainly red in colour!

Got it? HAHA :D
